Can we really rely on NGOs to be objective?
I have recently had first hand experience of an NGO in Indonesia (Community Rules do not allow me to name unfortunately) which operated a sick baby, who later died, taking the demonstrations, the author parents to accept the free health care offered to boost its international profile to obtain funds from USAID and the Norwegian government. He also fights only multinational enterprises in developing countries, even though these companies, knowing innocent of any wrong doing confirmed by various international bodies, rather local authors to confront real grievance as this does not receive any international coverage, therefore future funding. Can we really trust them when number one objective is to secure funding at all costs?
NO, all NGOs interested in how wise PROFIT.other would be able to continue.
